"Its Christmas time in the city"...and Americus, and Spruce Pine, and Johnson City, and Asheville

Another memorable Christmas has come & gone! It was a whirlwind, but we had a great time as we traveled around seeing our favorite people! We made stops in Americus, GA visiting my grandmothers, then back to Atlanta for Christmas Eve/Day with Aaron's parents. This year Santa brought Warren one of his most beloved toys, a red Lightning McQueen push/ride toy! He LOVES it! And thankfully now he won't 'steal' our friend, Marshall's when we're out in the neighborhood playing! Warren also got a set of 'car keys' and a little stuffed Elmo-since that's his big thing now...we thought we had done well for ourselves with not overdoing it...but then there are the other relatives...

Our longest venture was NC visiting Aaron's 'Mimi' and Uncles, as well as my sister in Asheville, detouring through TN visiting Aaron's dad's family. Settling in for the week in Asheville, Warren got some mega playtime with cousin Hayden, aaaand he tried to copy SO much of what Hayden did...cute boys! Warren & Hayden are 18 mos apart and it is amazing to see the differences, but as I said before, Warren was trying his hardest to keep up and did a pretty good job, if I say so myself! Hayden is way into Buzz Lightyear and wore his costume most of the time we were there, and you better believe Warren was going to have his turn! It was hilarious seeing Aaron, my dad (aka PaPa), and my mom(aka GaGa) 'flying' around my sister's living room-"To infinity and beyond!"

From the NC & TN travels, Warren was given a couple of 'cell phones,' some building blocks, puzzles, books, his very own Thomas the Train laptop, an Elmo farm, and another one of his favorites, a BROOM!!! Yes, that's right! The boy LOVES a broom...and our cell phones,...and daddy's laptop,...and our car keys...see where these gift ideas are coming from?! Luckily, he loves them all but his favorites are definitely the push/ride toy & the broom.
